I want to live in a world with more love, light, hope, and happiness.
I am Sue Crites, holistic healer, intuitive guide, and nutritionist. I believe that we all deserve to feel good. We deserve to feel connected to ourselves, others, and the universe. But for whatever reason, we often get in our own way. We get caught up in pleasing others, making a living, maintaining relationships, and wondering if we are worthy of a fulfilling life. We intuitively know that there is more. More for us to do, feel, be, and have. But there is so much in the way! As a trained holistic healer and nutritionist, I want to give you the opportunity to get the gunk out of the way and experience your life differently: vibrantly, with love.
Your body gives you clues when things aren’t right in your life. Are you tuning in? Your body may send you clues in the form of symptoms. They may be whispering to you now, but will eventually shout at you, if you haven’t been paying attention. When we get disconnected from our true selves, it’s like we are wearing earplugs. We cannot hear the whispers with our earplugs in.
I want you to be able tune in and listen to the whispers that are guiding you. I want you to experience what it’s like to feel connected to your true self. I want you to feel healthy, balanced, and vibrant. And I can help you with all of this. I have created programs that will help you to remove your earplugs, hear your whispers and songs, and infuse your heart with light. By doing this, you can re-gain your health and energy, shed excess pounds, and get to know your true higher self! By working with me, you will change the way you move through life, so much for the better.

Here’s the nitty gritty!
Back in the 90’s, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Science from the University of Alberta, Canada. After being a Research Scientist for a number of years, and birthing two kids, I desired more passion for my work. I discovered a passion for health! I obtained a diploma in Holistic Nutrition from the Canadian School for Natural Nutrition. I also became a Member of the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants. After graduating at the top of my class in Holistic Nutrition, I continued to become certified in Biotherapeutic Drainage (detoxification, homeopathy). This gave me a way to work with clients without treating symptoms and making changes more permanent and deeper. Then then took the big leap in 2008 and became trained in Auricular Medicine (an energetic assessment technique). This gave me a way to energetically connect and discover more about my clients and their individual requirements, along with providing deeper spiritual and emotional healing. Most recently, I have discovered how Spring Forest Qigong, an ancient mediation practice from China, can empower my clients to heal themselves, further removing energetic blockages, and facilitating connection with spirit. I now have combined healing elements of Spring Forest Qigong with my other energetic competencies to really connect with what my clients need. I am certified in Spring Forest Qigong Levels 1 and 2, and also teach Qigong in my community….watch for some upcoming videos!
I currently live outside a very small town (Athabasca) located smack dab in the middle of the boreal forest in Alberta, Canada. After growing up in a large city, I find my rural surrounding landscape inspires me and facilitates my work while nourishing my soul! I have a husband (aka Mountain Man), two thriving children (Claire and Luke), along with a very exuberant black lab (Luna)…oh, and a few horses.
Life is a journey; you repeatedly choose your path and directions on it.
Sometimes it is helpful to have a road map to know which way to go, a sort of “master plan.” But to make decisions on which route to take, you need direction, purpose, and meaning…a compass. I can help you find your compass. We enjoy our respective journeys most when we can live our best lives, attain and maintain health, learn to be mindful, and be open to growing along the way.
For almost ten years I have practiced in my own private holistic health clinic. I want to bring my experience and knowledge forward to reach more people through a new venture, Exuberant Lives. I invite you to join me on this journey.
