Spring Forest Qigong Level 2 Workshop

Tuesdays Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25, 6-9 PM, Athabasca, Alberta Canada

In this workshop you will learn to build and strengthen your own internal energy and the many ways you can use SFQ to help yourself and others to heal. You will learn how to scan the body to detect energy blockages, which are believed to be the root of sickness or disease in the body. Have you heard of qigong but aren’t sure what it is? Or have you practiced qigong before but would like to learn more? Or maybe you just want to come and soak up the relaxing healing energy! Join me for this informative and experiential workshop where you will learn the basic philosophy of Spring Forest Qigong (chi gong), practice a moving meditation sequence (all new exercises!) and end with a guided seated meditation.

The benefits of Spring Forest Qigong are extensive and include:

Spring Forest Qigong (a form of medical form of qigong) is simple and easy to learn. The exercises will help to remove ‘blockages’ occurring in invisible energy channels (meridians) in your body. This will help balance your energy and emotions, allowing more joy and peace to flow into your life.

Deepening your qigong practice and healing session

Tuesday April 3, 2016 7:00-8:30 PM

Star of the North Retreat Centre, Hearth Room, St. Albert, AB

If you have been practicing Spring Forest Qigong for a while and would like to deepen your practice, join us for a longer guided seated meditation. For the first hour, we will open our channels (cupping, tapping) and meditate together in a seated or lying position for about 45 minutes, then close by harvesting the qi (chi) and distribute the wonderful healing energy to where it is most needed.
By sitting and meditating in a group for longer periods, you will advance your meditation practice along with your overall universal awareness and connection; enhance your feelings of well-being, and further heal and connect your heal your body, mind, and spirit.

You do not have to be a student of Spring Forest Qigong to join us.

As long as you have experience meditating or sitting or lying still for longer periods, you are welcome!

For the last 30 min., those that would like to stay for Qigong healing will be worked on by our Level 2 and 3 students. These students are practicing their techniques to help develop confidence in their healing abilities. They are all skilled and can do no harm, only help! As they are learning and gaining confidence, you will benefit from healing most if you hold an open heart and are not anxious or fearful. If you are staying for healing, all that you have to do is sit in a chair, close your eyes, and breathe deeply. It is that simple!
Please bring a blanket, mat, or cushion and a sweater or shawl in case you get cool. Dress comfortably.

Qigong Winter Session Practice Group – Athabasca, AB

Winter session begins on Wednesday February 10, 2016 and runs until May 18, 2016.  We will begin a 12 week session on Feb. 10 with January 27th free for everyone.

Fee for the 12 weeks is $100 including GST or $10 for drop-in.

Please join me in this healing, heart-opening practice.  In a group, all our energy is magnified! You can start anytime throughout the session.

Through this practice you will gain more energy, confidence, healing, health and clarity.

We will start off with 30 minutes of slow moving healing movements to get energy flowing through your meridians and help you heal and open up your heart to the loving support of the Universe.  Following the active exercises, there will be a 20 minute guided seated meditation.

Bring a blanket or mat for seated meditations.  No experience is necessary.

If your finances are limited, not to worry; please attend!  No one will be turned away from our Practice Groups due to financial limitations, just speak with me or drop me a note.  The energy of our collective group is so healing, loving, and supportive. I wish for as many people as possible to participate.

These sessions focus on longer meditations, either seated or active exercises, to help deepen and enhance your spiritual connection.
